First and foremost I want to say I think your website is fantasic. What Coach Dzik is being put through is a crime. Makes you wonder even more where loyalty has gone in the world. For the last decade I have either played against Coach Dzik or coached against him. For the last four seasons I have been one of the assistant men's coaches at Marywood Univ. There is no coach or no basketball program at the D-III level that I respect more than John Dzik and Cabrini College Men's Basketball. When we took over the Marywood program as a staff back in the 2001-2002 season we wanted to model ourselves after Cabrini. When Cabrini started men's basketball they did it the right way, thanks to John Dzik and his amazing staff. The most obvious thing when it comes to Cabrini Basketball is the on the court success (the wins, PAC titles, NCAA appearances) but what is most important to me is the impact Coach Dzik had on his players over the last two decades teaching them about life, responsibility, and respect. I want to help your cause in any way I can. My heart aches for Coach and his staff. A head coach will tell you he is only as good as his assistants so in Coach Dzik's case he has some great assistants. If I were a college president or AD I'd be calling him right now to come in and interview for a coaching position. The guy is a winner not only in basketball, but in life!
