Dear Dr. Iadarola,
I am sending this letter in regards of Mr. John Dzik. I am very
upset with the decision the college made to let him go. I am a 1999
graduate of the college. I played field hockey, basketball, and
lacrosse during my 4 years at Cabrini. I am now very successful in
my career. A lot of that has to do with the Athletic Department of
Cabrini College.
Mr. John Dzik not only knows the insides and outsides of Cabrini
College Athletics, but he has been a great role model, mentor,
coach, and a great friend to all of us who have had the privilege of
being apart of his athletic department. He was there for us when we
needed advice on the field and most of all in the classroom. He was
someone we could turn to for advice about anything. He taught us to
be leaders through his example. He is someone I look up to and
admire.
Cabrini College would NOT be what it is today without John Dzik.
I think it is a disgrace and that you are making a huge mistake by
letting him go. I thought I would never see the day that I would say
I was not proud to be a part of Cabrini College. Sadly that day has
come. Please reconsider you decision of letting John Dzik go. The
upcoming students deserve the great experience my classmates and I
had under the leadership of John Dzik. Thank you for your time and
consideration.
Respectfully,
Jessica Gougler (Valerio)
Class of 1999
